Connect Clio (lawyers)

Clio OAuth setup. AI books client consultations directly into Clio's calendar with matter linkage.

Step 1 — VoxReach admin: register Clio OAuth app

  • Sign in at app.clio.com → Settings → Developer Apps.
  • Create new app named 'VoxReach AI'. Region: AU/US/EU as needed.
  • Redirect URI: https://app.voxreach.com.au/integrations/clio/oauth/callback
  • Required scopes: matters, contacts, calendar_entries, notes, users (or 'all' if available).
  • Copy Client ID + Client Secret, paste into VoxReach Admin → Secrets as CLIO_CLIENT_ID and CLIO_CLIENT_SECRET.

Step 2 — Tenant: connect via OAuth

  • Integrations → Clio → Connect via OAuth.
  • Authorise with their Clio practice login.
  • Token + refresh stored encrypted; renews automatically every 7 days.

Step 3 — Configure workflow

  • Set as default booking provider.
  • Default duration: 30 min for initial consults, 60 for matter reviews.
  • Service-keyword mapping is useful here: 'family law' → assign to your family-law partner.

Step 4 — Test with a real call

  • Add a test contact in Clio with your mobile.
  • Ring your VoxReach number — agent should greet you by name.
  • Ask to book an initial consultation — agent should check live calendar, offer slots, book.

Troubleshoot

  • Token expired — refresh cron handles automatically every 30 min.
  • No matters showing — Clio doesn't expose matters as 'services'; use the 4 default consult types or define service-keyword mapping.
