Step 1 — Connect Workshop Software
- In Workshop Software: Settings → Integrations → API → Generate.
- Note your shop domain (e.g. yourshop.workshopsoftware.com.au).
- Connect in VoxReach Integrations → Workshop Software.

Step 2 — Use case: inbound appointment setter
- Mechanics on the floor can't answer — AI takes every call.
- Opening: 'You've reached
. What's the car doing?'

Step 3 — Vehicle + symptom capture
- AI asks: rego plate, make/model, year, what it's doing wrong.
- Existing customers: AI matches phone → vehicle history → 'Is this still about the Hilux?'

Step 4 — Tech availability
- Workshop Software dispatches against techs — AI checks live schedule.
- Default duration: 60 min for diagnostic, 120 for service, 30 for tyre fitment.
- Service-keyword mapping: 'service'=logbook-id, 'tyres'=tyre-fit-id.

Step 5 — Quote vs book distinction
- For diagnostic: book the appointment, no quote yet.
- For known service (rego, basic service): AI can read out approximate price from your service catalogue.

Common gotchas
- Cars without phone match — AI gracefully creates new customer record + vehicle.
- Multi-bay shops — AI uses round-robin if no specific tech requested.
